One of the first helicopters coming to land at Jackson County Airport of many-- after this day we received helicopters that landed and took off basically every ten minutes, but they were good sounds to hear. By this time I was semi-aware of what had happened in Asheville and other communities, and knew this aid would be essential for them and for places closer to us. The constant barrage of sound coming from the hilltop (where the airport is) felt like hope to me.
