This photo was taken on the trails near Lookout Observatory in North Asheville. It was the first trail we could walk after Helene- we walked past dozens of down pine trees, reflecting on the grief’s ripple waves in the forest.
Abby climbed onto the tree to reflect, and it is clear that some powerful emotions came up.
