Help Pouring in for Craig Family
Description
Article spotlights the family of Ernest W. Craig who, after their homes had been destroyed by mudslides, received an outpouring of community support, as well as support from the local Red Cross chapter. 14 families living in a trailer park are still unable to return to their homes, due to floodwaters. Estimated damages are between $75-80,000. Five trailers were swept off their foundations. The park has no water or electricity, and raw sewage is sitting in the water. The Biltmore Company donated water to the families.
