Parking on the bridge to see the damage

Finally able to find a not flooded way out of my neighborhood in the River Arts District, I made my way to the bridge, which was full of people who had come out to see the flood. There was no phone service so people could not call their friends or share pictures, just look at the damage the water had done to the neighborhood. I ran on those trails now covered in water, went to those restaurants. All I knew was that there was nothing I could do at that point but look off the bridge just like everyone else.
