Biltmore Avenue destruction

Many of us are familiar with flooding in Biltmore Village from the last time, but this was so much more devastating to the businesses and infrastructure. Normally I would not have been near there, but the exchange student from Brazil (that we were hosting) and I were looking for cell service to let her parents know she was okay. We didn't locate any service but did come upon this scene. It was heartbreaking.
