Flooding on State St. at Wellington St.

After the wind and rain subsided after the storm, I walked around my neighborhood in West Asheville to get a sense of the damage. Because State Street. leads directly down to the French Broad, not too far from where it meets the Swannanoa River, I knew that walking down this street would give me some idea of the scope of the flooding. This was as far as you could go down State Street, and you could see submerged homes and cars from here.
