Overlooking the French Broad River, the "Old" West Asheville Bridge, and the Southern Railway Yards in the vicinity of Avery, Roberts, and Queen Sts. Other commercial buildings in view include, Asheville Power & Lights Co's Avery St Station, American Feed Milling Co (sign on building visible), and Asheville Grocery Company. Notes on the back of the print also mention the Asheville Grocery Company and "Sternberg & Co Bldg under construction."
