Scan of photograph from the Great Flood of 1940. Heavy rain in early August 1940 was followed by a hurricane that brought additional rainfall for five days. This image, as identified by the donor, depicts Beacon employees looking at rising floodwaters reaching the bottom of Beacon Bridge.
