Sepia realphoto postcard showing two men standing amid barrels and other debris looking across swollen waters of the French Broad River. Partially submerged trains across midground: one passenger car, Southern Railway freight cars, one possibly a coal gondola. Beyond these rises the top of the Carolina Machinery Co (located at foot of Avery St).
