Well, you're looking at Hendersonville Road behind me here in Biltmore Village. We're right next to All Soul's Cathedral. The flooding is devastating. I'm going to step out of the way so that you can see, just kind of what we're talking about here. Debris as large as dumpsters, propane tanks, benches, ice coolers, tree limbs all being carried down the floodwaters. The high water flooding businesses, rising rapidly in covering signs and cars. One man we spoke to is grown up in Asheville, and he says he's never seen anything like this.
Speaker:
The water is so high. Everything is floating. Have a couple of cars down here. This up on the water? Everything is falling down, blown over. It's not like lightning hit the tree. They just uprooted from the root, where the wind is just blowing them over.

The water rising so quickly that while we were speaking to Michael and his wife, it came right up to where we were standing. Asheville police helping to block the flooded roadways. They're asking people to stay off the roads. Well, it's still unclear how long it will take for these floodwaters to recede.
