Title
Relief
Description
Relief is a spoken word poem written from inside the Hurricane Helene recovery in Western North Carolina. Moving through plant ecology, witnessed testimony, and ancestral memory, it asks what disaster relief could look like if we remembered that mutual aid is not a new idea, but the oldest one, already written into the land and into us.
