Rural Organizing and Resilience (ROAR) is excited to announce the release of Facing the Flood, a collection of stories of survival and organizing in WNC during Hurricane Helene. We hope this zine captures the intensity of those first few days of surviving the storm, when all we truly had was each other, as well as the incredible mutual aid organized that flourished in the weeks and months after the storm.
