I was on adrenaline. My dear friends were so worried about all of us here. This was a recording for them. My husband was able to leave with my two teenagers and I was so grateful we could get them out. I didn't have to worry about feeding everyone in the immediate aftermath. I was trying to figure out how to live and work as a Midwife and Nurse and be present for whatever was needed.
