Title
Old Glory Remains
Description
Around 4 am at Clyde Volunteer Fire Department I took our flags down and hung them on the gear racks to dry out. All members of the Clyde Fire Department evacuated the building at 10 am when the building had 6 feet of water inside. When we returned to the building that evening the only flagged that remained was Old Glory. During the storm, no call was left unanswered in the district. This was a big morale boost because even though we have no department we still served and continue to serve our citizens.
