Just pick up to 24 screenshots from your phone that represent your Helene experience, and email them to friendsbcsc@gmail.com. Be sure that files are named sequentially, so that the screenshots appear in the order you want. This video explains how. (Thank you to volunteers Jed and Lindsay for making the tutorial!) You can also choose to add a title page or colophon if you'd like.

The Friends of BCSC will email you when a printed copy is ready for pickup. You can keep a copy for yourself, or donate it to the archives! Participants are also invited to add collections of screenshots to the digital archives.
</text>

One by one they worked up the courage to swim for the shore. This one stopped halfway across and rested on a metal pole that was sticking out of the water. This heartbreaking moment reminds us that it wasn't just people who lost everything. We had been looking forward to them opening for weeks. They had just finished setting up the kitchen, pulling the permits, and were going to open in the next week or so I was told. The artists talked about how people could maybe see live music, have a drink and check out the gallery, and how great it would be to have another aspect to enrich the gallery. But, it flooded and took out the kitchen. It's been months now and the mural is now just white wall, and I don't know if another thing will take the place of this yet. </text>

                <text>The next day after the flood had receded I made my way to the gallery I show artwork in to see if anything was left. Work had been washed off of walls, strewn on the floor, plastic pillars still filled with water. I lost all of my matted prints, but my wall on the right that's empty had metal prints on it, and I was able to find and recover all of those. I had already pulled my work off when I got my camera, not thinking I should have taken this before. It was a lot of unknowns. How much work did I lose? Will I be able to sell more art any time soon? What does this mean for my friends and the neighborhood? Still no phone service, water or power anywhere. Months till questions can be answered. </text>
