                <text>It was a struggle to get news without cell service, so we ventured to the firehouse on Haywood Rd to see if they knew anything. We were handed this FAQ document and stood in silence as we realized we were trapped here and seemingly forgotten. The knowledge of Burnsville &amp; Old Fort and other smaller towns having no way out due to landslides provided me with perspective, for the first time, that Asheville surely wasn't the worst of it. </text>
